The text describing the picture: "Assuming he was probably near the hypcenter, I searched [for] my father day after day among the bodies floating in the rivers or hung up on the bridge piers.  I was actually looking for the black leather band and the German watch of which he was so proud.  My sister, who had just turned one and rode around on my back breathing shallowly, withstood the blazing midsummer sun well.  I never found my father."

Half dead, "Weater, water."  My 15-year-old self gave him water, but he couldn't drink very well.  Some time later, he died.  It was his last water."  Artist was 15 during the blast; 72 when the picture was made.
